We fetch the production address today and record exactly what returns — a 404, a redirect, replaced content, or a server that refuses scripted access.
Wayback Machine
An archived snapshot proves the resource existed and preserves what was lost. Every entry carries a working snapshot link.
Independent sourcing
A third source — reporting, a public notice, or an agency statement — confirms the removal and dates it.
Some agencies block scripted requests. Where that happens we say so plainly rather than claiming a removal we couldn't confirm ourselves.
